This deck is part of Project Post-con: building a ready to use deck for each existing hero, just using the available card copies of buying each pack once. This does not only enable fast pick-and-play, but it also makes each deck feel unique, as not everyone is using the same powerhouse cards. Each deck is intended to be fun and usable in expert mode, but none will be the absolute strongest possible due to the card limitations. Looking for other decks? Search for the Post-con tag.

Project Post-con Version 1 (Cards up to a and including Valkyrie release) This is a legacy deck. Search for Project Post-con to find the most recent version.

This deck is a fun thematic take on the rage capabilities of She-Hulk. It focusses on two main qualities of the character: (1) the ability to pump your attack up high and (2) the potential to use your health for card draw. The goal is to pump her attack with the help of Brute Force and then refrain from actually attacking by using events to do the attacking for her. This provides a strange but fun element of balance and control, which fits the theme so well. Can you help Jeniffer control her rage long enough so she can smash all her problems? Luckily she has a fun dog Cosmo to help her. I mean... who can get mad with a dog.

RESOURCES

The majority of her aggression cards are not that high cost in order to help her hand size. As a result, I only included the basic three double resources.

ALLIES

Her allies serve two purposes.:

  • Hellcat and Mockingbird help stay the villain, so all of She-Hulks health can go towards her card draw.
  • Cosmo and Marvel Boy assist her controlling her rage by giving her additional attack options through As One!. Furthermore, it it nicely thematic to also see them go in rage mode as well.

UPGRADES

  • Combat Training, Brute Force and Superhuman Strength are all there to pump her ATK to a potential whopping 11. However, in practise you'll likely never use two Superhuman Strengths at once, in order to benefit from the stun. Bear in mind Brute Force gets lost on basic attacks, Superhuman Strength is removed even after attack events, but the stun kicker is always good. The events section further explains how to fully utilise her strong ATK.
  • Focused Rage is critical to ensure you have the right events available, especially due to her small hand size. These are probably the most critical cards to mulligan for, together with her other resource support cards. This is also great to controllably go to low HP for Gamma Slam.
  • Martial Prowess then helps pay for any attack event you want to play in lieu of actually attacking.
  • Enraged and Energy Spear give the boost to your allies. They are both meant for a single guardian ally to boost and then take full advantage of As One!.
  • Down Time helps with her already insane recovery to ensure you can make full use of the Focused Rage cards.

SUPPORT

  • Avengers Mansion and Helicarrier are required to compensate her awful hand size. This ensures not only that you draw into the right events needed to utilise her ATK stat, but it also ensures you can actually pay for the events. Both are great to aim for in mulligans.
  • Superhuman Law Division will mainly serve to thin the deck for your events, as it is not the best thwarting option. Somtimes it can however help in a pinch.

EVENTS

This is actually what makes the deck viable. many of her events use her high ATK, without the need for basic attacks. It's all about self-control in this deck.

  • Quick Strike and As One! both use her incredible attack without discarding Brute Force.
  • Smash the Problem, however, is the real kicker of this deck, as once built it provides insane threat management for an aggression build.
  • Gamma Slam can be powerful in certain situations, as you can control your exact health quite well with Focused Rage. However, due to high cost, it is often not the preferred attack event of the deck. Same goes for Ground Stomp, which more often turns into a resource.
  • Legal Practice is just ok, as it can help you in alter-ego mode, when you need to be there for addiotnal card draw or healing.
  • Split Personality has great value an not only does it allow another flip, it can turn a bad hand into a new one, in which you should definitely get the event you need.

In conclusion, as in the real world, self-control can be difficult to master. But once you get the hang of how and when to act with this deck, it is so fun and rewarding to smash every problem with She-Hulk.
