The Pool aspect is loaded with great cards that you can only have one copy of in your deck. It also doesn't have any built-in way to recur them. But Erik Lehnsherr does.

After playing one of these high-cost events, you simply flip down to alter-ego and shuffle the top 3 cards of your discard pile back into your deck. While you're there, use Asteroid M to add a magnetic card back to your deck, and use Weapon X to add an identity card to your hand, then gain a card from Moira MacTaggert when you flip back next round.

You also have Plot Convenience to save the cards you want for later without having to flip down.

You have 5 double resource cards, plus Helicarrier and The X-Jet to help pay for the big ticket cards and if the right combo doesn't come back to hand, you may be able to Mulligan. Also, you have 5 cards you can play off turn (Barely a Scratch, Get in Front of Me!, Not my Responsibility), that can be used and then Mulligan can be played the next turn to get your hand back to full.

A mix of Pool allies sets up strong usage of 'Pool Inspection, Barely a Scratch and Da Bomb, but you will of course have to exercise caution with overpowering it and wiping out your team. Although being able to recur Break Time may make give you some room to play with it.

Getting Helicarrier or The X-Jet into play early will help a lot with running this deck. Magneto's Helmet is also useful early so that using your magnetic cards eats less into your Pool cardplay.
