It's counterintuitive, but for Bobby Drake I think that ice and cold feel like warmth and safe clothes. When he see his own breath, he knows he's okay. So, it makes sense that for Bobby/Iceman to thwart well in solo, he'll have flip to AE a lot. To do that, he'll need three layers of coats and leg warmers:

  • Frozen Solid - It stops an activation on any villain. Whether they're steady or stalwart or just a standard vanilla villain, they don't activate and they get one copy of Frostbite. What's even better is all the other current copies of Frostbite stay out. Superpower Training can get this out for you if you already have Cryokinetic Perception in play.

  • Confuse - Upside the Head is perfect to confuse the villain and apply one copy of Frostbite. Just like above, all the copies of Frostbite stay on the villain.

  • Frostbite - With the two layers above in play a lot that leads to a ton of Frostbites out. You'll also have confused minions because of the combo of Infiltration and Prism Dust. That means...

...Bobby Drake gets to lounge in the pool in AE worry free.

  • If you know, tell me why Wasp would be a great thematic pairing with this deck. Have fun!
