Dark Phoenix? Never Heard Of Her.

Well what gave me inspiration to make this deck? It all started with I was a young lad........ Just kidding. Its my first attempt at publishing a deck I've had alot of fun with.

Although I dont go on the discord often, I love hearing about the community and everyone thoughts. After listening to Stunned and Confused and the Winning Hand I realized I should use some cards that I have never tried together.

Those cards are brains over brawn and Justice served.

Brains Over Brawn is honestly a pretty strong card with phoenix. Her starting thwart of 3 is nothing to scoff at. But once you get Heroic Intuition and Heroic Conditioning in play oh boy you are starting to burn up the competition.

The player side schemes can help get you some survivability with your upgrades. If you can wait you can clear Superpower Training once a minion is on the board and use mind control chef kiss!

Getting Stepford Cuckoos into play can be a lifesaver. We've all been there before game is going well and them bam shadows of the past comes out and now your in a major slugfest with dark phoenix

After testing the deck on standard and expert. I had noticed alot of side schemes have 4 threat on them in solo. Its important One Way or Another you clear it with one basic thwart. So if you know there is a side schemes you cant clear that same turn I usually hold one. But gamer greed also tells me I want those 3 cards now!

Justice Served is here for you so you don't overwhelmed with trying to clear side schemes and keeping the main scheme under control. When you have 5 thwart it will be rare when you can't ready.

Now what I have been doing with specialized training. Is i have been clearing it and taking the health upgrade. What I have really enjoyed is playing with less allies, and although 9 health worried me at the beginning it actually gave me a chance to use all of phoenix hero kit. The shield and from the ashes saved me in expert. I didnt seem to need it as much on standard.

Opening hand you would like to get Heroic upgrade or Psimitar. Psimitar helps with minions while you are building your thwart for Brains Over Brawn

Once you are set up you still love to go unleashed. Having 3 attack 3 thwart stat line is very strong. Yes Brains over brawn loses value but you will using mostly her player cards once you are set up.
