This deck was designed for Round 1 in Season 4 of the Solo Champions League competitive series. The challenge for this week is:

Villain: Crossbones (Standard) + Legions of Hydra + Bomb Scare + Weapon Master + Experimental Weapons
Hero: Hulk
Aspect: Protection, Justice, Aggression, or Leadership

You can see the deck in action on my channel: https://youtu.be/TYkjsf9F8zw.

Crossbones has a lot of Hydra friends and a full arsenal of attachments, but he's a bit squishy with only 12 hp on stage one and 14 hp on stage two. That means we only need to do 26 damage to finish him off.

Hulk aggression seemed like the best way to do that. Since we dump our hand every turn, I packed in lots of one-off attack cards like Drop Kick, Toe to Toe, Skilled Strike, Uppercut, and Piercing Strike. The other advantage to using lots of attack cards is we don't get stuck doing nothing if we have to defend. We should always have at least one attack card option in our hand every turn.

Mockingbird is in there for the stun. Lockjaw is in there for emergencies. We can dump our hand of 4 cards to pull him out of the bin to do some urgent thwarting and/or defending.

Endurance helps us stay in hero mode as long as possible in order to avoid too much threat being added to the scheme. We won't be thwarting at all, so we need to slow down the clock.

If we get banged up and need to recover, then Down Time will make sure we get the most benefit from recovering and then get back into the fight. Even better with Banner's Laboratory in play too.

For the Hulk cards, Hulk Smash is definitely your MVP. Crushing Blow and Unstoppable Force will also put in work. Immovable Object and Boundless Rage are nice to have, but not essential for winning.

There are a ton of resource cards in this deck, so you shouldn't have any trouble hitting those kickers and requirements.

I really like Lockjaw. I always put him in hulk decks since he can thwart and then block.

One thing is that Tac Team is more effective than uppercut since it does more damage, and can be a great minion/tough puncher. It also, can be played at any time with equal efficiency. Uppercut anyway should be replaced since it is quite bad.

Lastly, I recommend swapping some less useful cards out for resourceful and counter attack. Crossbones has big attacks, so counterattack is very nice. And resourceful or assess the situation (preferably not enhanced ___ since it costs 2) can really boost you on your next turn so you can be more consistent if the game drags on (which will happen if you get hulk smash the turn the villain goes tough.)
