Minimum purchase means: the least amount of purchases required in order to play the game with the hero/aspect. In this case:

  • Core Set
  • Scarlet Witch Hero Pack

I cheated a bit this time and added Sense of Justice from the Quicksilver pack. After all, you have to buy the twins together right? :)

The strategy is simple:

  • Just follow the usual Scarlet Witch strategy by quickly cycling through the deck using Spiritual Meditation (and her alter-ego ability, but don't flip only for this).
  • Play as much allies/supports/upgrades as possible early on, especially during the first round of deck cycling.
  • After that, play Hex Bolt and Molecular Decay to do the big damage.
  • In between, use Scarlet Witch's basic thwart and the Justice events to reduce the threat. Sense of Justice and a relatively large amount of resources help with the latter.

Additional tips:

  • With Hex Bolt, prioritize getting 3+ boosts for the status cards, using her hero ability and/or Scarlet Witch's Crest if necessary. Status cards are huge when playing solo. For example, stun effectively causes a villain to skip half its turn when in hero mode.
  • For the same reason, prioritize playing Mockingbird when it comes to allies.
  • Don't make the same mistake and think that Nick Fury is too expensive for a one-time use ally. If you pick the draw option, he effectively only costs 1 resource (and you cycle through the deck quicker). So for just 1 resource, you'll get to thwart/attack for 2 ánd get a free defend (he discards áfter the villain phase!)
