Hero Action: Discard cards from the encounter deck until you discard a minion. Put that minion into play engaged with you → play an ally from your hand, reducing its cost by 3.

A few allies I see combo well with this card. Nova Prime in Star-lords deck. With any luck the minion is a non-elite and gets disintegrated with Novas ability. Hercules in a Spider-woman deck. The drawn minion reduces his cost by an additional 1. Magik in a Cyclops deck. Again if the minion is a non-elite then she can portal it back into the encounter deck for a resource. I’m sure there are many more.

This card isn't as good as it seems. It's basically a 2-discount, because this card counts as part of the cost. So if you have a 5-card hand, and a 3-cost ally, you pay this, burn through the encounter deck for a minion, then play the ally. You have 3 cards left. You essentially paid 1 (plus a minion) for the ally. Thor or Valkyrie might love it, but they'd be giving up a ton of good aggression cards. — underthewronghat · 64
This is flawed reasoning considering that you would have to pay for the ally with a different card anyways. — ChrRome · 1

A fantastic multiplayer card. This card is basically a triple resource for allies. The advantage over other aspect resources cards is that the condition is easy to meet and can be used on signature allies (Captain Marvel signature ally,). In solo putting a minion into play can be a significant risk and depending on the minion it may cancel out most of the advantage you’ve gained from discounting your ally. In multiplayer have another hero build an excess damage minion slaying deck (Follow through, Honed Technique, Into The Fray, No Quarter, Relentless Assault, etc). Now the minions you’ve put into play serve to advance the game state dramatically and you’ve improved the consistency of another player’s build. You line them up, they knock them down.
