After playing as Adam, this deck was built with a few observations in mind:
- Adam wants a small deck to keep his signature events consistent
- Adam wants cheap allies (hence Summoner’s Spell is not included) preferably with when revealed/defeated effects…I say cheap because won’t have any double resource cards
- Adam wants to maximize aspect cards to power his signature ability bonuses and maximize choices for his battle mage ability…so he only gets one basic card (The Sorcerer Supreme) and no double resources
- Adam does not want double resource aspect cards because they will be wildly inconsistent
- Adam’s best cards are Mythic Senses…once he gets them down, he wants to use battle mage ability every turn
- Adam doesn’t care if he starts his turn exhausted…so Adam’s only buffs his DEF with Armored Vest. Consequently, The Warlock’s Cape is not a priority
- Adam’s Quantum Magic is useful for recurring Cosmic Ward from the discard
- Adam is the only current character that can take full advantage of the Cosmic Entities cards (getting all 4 in play to make it a relevant tactic) so they are included (they are not a priority to play, but they do wonders slowing down the villain)
- Adam benefits from the aspect spells included in his hero pack…allowing him to draw through his deck to power Soul World
- Adam needs to take it easy on his discard-powered events until both copies of Mystic Senses are down and preferably Karmic Staff as well
- Adam likes the small bonuses from the new aspect resources…he was going to spend a card anyway, and they sync with his discard abilities
- Adam only uses Hulk to block because the resource types are all over the place
-Other cards can be tailored to individual preference or scenarios
Overall, he can be pretty fun to play. Sometimes you don’t get exactly what you want out of him on each turn but he makes up for it in overall scenario control.
With so many options on how to build his deck. I’m sure opinions will vary widely on his best utilization.
