In basic theory, Quicksilver should defend once and then use 2 hero actions plus straightens. You want to get MORE average uses (or buff points used for Maximum Velocity which is 2/use) than the cost of a buff event to be worthwhile -eg: Getting 3 or less uses out of Lead from the Front is inefficient (Cost is 2+1).

I'd suggest Earth's Mightiest Heroes instead of Ready for Action. This lets Wanda hang around contributing, at whatever level Quicksilver is at, whilst being available for Order and Chaos. It will also straighten Quicksilver should an encounter card exhaust him, thus allowing him to roll on into his 'superspeed' trait. Also, it is another straighten for Friction Resistance.

You prob don't need the The Power of Leadership for the 3 leadership cards that cost 2+.
