Deck Provenance

This deck does not intend to stay in alter-ego the entire game. It purposefully exits for specific reasons, but at heart, it is derived from IlEmperatore's deck.

Testing

I have only tried the deck against the core set villains (Rhino, Klaw, Ultron) on Standard. Decklist will be revised as I expand to other villains and increase difficulty.

Recurring Counterintelligence

Taken straight from IlEmperatore's deck guide:

"With 2x Black Widow's Gauntlet + Safe House #29 + Counterintelligence you have an infinite loop that avoids you 3 threats from the plan each turn. You discard Counterintelligence to avoid a threat of 3 and, on your next turn, you recover it with Safe House #29 you play it with the 2x Black Widow's Gauntlet winning a card each turn!"

My comments:

This combo is one of the core components of the deck. That said, I want to experiment with reducing Counterintelligence to a single copy. The deck excels at stalling the game (i.e., staying in alter-ego for as long as desired by consistently removing threat and managing minions), such that it can wait until the deck has been exhausted once to find the single copy.
