Similarly to KennedyHawk from MCM, I've taken it upon myself to make 12 decks because its a festive number and it's the 12th month of the year. I used the Marvel Champions deck randomiser (https://krasstek.shinyapps.io/marvelchampioner/) to output 12 random Villain and Modular combinations, and then give me 12 random Hero and Aspect pairings. I had to fiddle with the latter a bit so I had 3 of each aspect.
I then paired up Heroes to take down each of the Villain / Modular pairings and built a loosely tribal deck to take down each.
On the fourth day of Christmas, Ironheart struggled and eventually overcame Absorbing Man (mostly because he was being backed by Future Past and Doomsday Chair).
Signature card: Ingenuity It's the card you mulligan for to ensure you can play Brawn the moment you see him. There's nothing worse than a 4 card hand with Brawn in it and no additional resources available to play him.

Dec 12, 2022Yep, she doesn't need much more than basic cards to wreck shop. The match up against Absorbing Man was surprisingly hard, because she wants to take time, and MOKOD, Nimrod etc. are a fair incentive to get out of there ASAP. I've been enjoying your Decked Halls series again this year. Thanks for continuing the tradition, and for the inspiration! |
This deck looks fun. I’m going to try it out. I think Ironhearts kit is so self sufficient it gels really well with the basic package. Nice job!
