Professor Hulk Smashes Science [Expert Crusher]

Welcome to Science Class - Professor Hulk is in session!

This Hulk deck is easy to pilot. The whole plan is to build up allies as Bruce Banner to thwart and then switch to Hulk to smash villains. Don't be afraid to take a hit, Hulk wants to protect his allies and this deck draws a lot of cards once it gets going.

Allies Hulk's research team includes many different allies, and they will be doing all of the thwarting as almost every ally can be used with Rapid Response. Ironheart, Kaluu, Maria Hill, Nick Fury, and White Tiger are all played to build up your ally pool to draw you cards, thwart, and create a wild resource pool for Band Together to play the Strength requirements for some of Hulk's cards. Beast will fetch your Limitess Strength, while Squirrel Girl will dispatch minions, and knock of Tough Cards at just the right time. Lastly - Stinger will provide extra support with her ability to not count against your ally limit as a great blocker. Something to also consider if you find an ally isn't working against a specific villain, is to sideboard. For example, Rhino is a low SCH villain... so swapping in Mirage for a recurring Stun Lock with Rapid Response is great!

Events Make the Call is for bringing back strong allies like Beast and Nick Fury, or anyone you need to help your situation. And you don't want your low health allies to die off asap, so tapping them down to draw more cards while attacking or thwarting with healthly ones keeps the heat down. Don't worry if you lose one to a block. Sometimes dropping science is just like that.

Resources We're playing all three basic resources and Band Together for a mega burst of wild resources which will pay for your Strength requirment 3 cost cards when allies are in play. Band Together represents everyone putting everyones minds together and weathering the villains onslaught to produce results. It is just a great card and is key to keep your resource genration high and wild so you can play specific cards.

Support Professor Hulk is going to be doing a lot of heavy lifting - so it does require a few supports for everything to flow according to research. Avengers Mansion is a great early game as it draws you a card. Quincarrier will help fuel your Strength requirement for cards, and Triskelion will increase your allies on the board to make sure you will have a chump blocker while keeping your ally count high. If you find that some games you can't keep your allies in play, swap the Triskelion out for a Make The Call. Or if you need them to stay longer Team Training also does work. If you find yourself overwhelmed with resources, swap out Quincarrier for an ally who is good against the villain.

Upgrades Doctor Bruce Banner being a Genius lets him have access to Ingenuity which will help you out early game, at least til you can acquire a Quincarrier to help Strength resources. Since you're Professor Hulk, you can use Ingenuity in hero mode too. Rapid Response is a back bone of helping your allies come back when all seems lost. It lets you recur your specific enter play effects.

Notes: White Tiger cannot use Make The Call or Rapid Response to draw cards when she re-enters play. As the card must be played from hand to gain that effect.
