There are 2 systems at play here. The first is playing off Ghost Spider's readying and card draw abilities and her high defense value, creating a no damage, readying defense build, using her own hero cards, but also Expert Defense and Defiance. The second part is using the Web Warrior suite of allies in basic and protection, to support her.
