This is my second Spider-Woman deck. This deck began with the simple idea that Agent Coulson and 1 Rapid Response would consistently thwart for 2 and block 1 attack EVERY TURN as long as I paid 2 resources.

In practice, it was insane. I ended up getting both copies of Finesse out and this combo became actually free. (It also meant I had a blue card to play EVERY turn as well, so yay). I didn't take any damage from attacks for the rest of the game - eat your heart out protection.

The rest of the deck is where it all gets interesting however. In my play group I am notorious for disliking all but about 10* cards from Justice, so how to fill the deck? Also, aside from Spider-Woman, I am most excited about Quicksilver's deck and acknowledged what are likely to be a key similarity in their playstyle. You want to buff stats, and then ready yourself as many times as possible with big boosts. With that in mind, some card choices:

Morale Boost - if it's your first blue card, this actually buffs your stats by +2, which for one cost is actually amazing. Probably gonna be one of my fave cards in a Quicksilver deck later on.

Teamwork - I had this idea that the few allies I had out other than Agent Coulson would want to stay in play forever (thus Hawkeye). Teamwork is something I've always wanted to make work to use the allies in a different way, plus it's a free blue on a turn in case you didn't have any leadership cards.

Earth's Mightiest Heroes - I love this card. 3 more copies of a free Self-Propelled Glide. Yes thanks! Exhaust allies to use my hero stats that I just buffed AGAIN. Yes please! It is now in my top 3 favourite cards. I will be 100% playing 3 of this in Quicksilver as well.

Beat Cop - this card is insane. This card and Agent Coulson are why I play Justice when i do.

Skilled Investigator - when you look at aspect cards in Spider-Woman, you have to think to yourself "is this card worth it more if it ALSO gives me +1 to all my stats?". Often, the 0-cost cards sure are.

Spycraft - spying on treacheries and cancelling them are pretty nice. Especially when you can use Jessica Drew to check and plan out your villain phase a little.

Under Surveillance - I go back and forth on whether this is amazing, or just good. Technically it just thwarts for 4, but also one time we beat Ultron without letting his first scheme tick over because of a turn 1 Under Surveillance. So I dunno, but it's one of the 10 Justice cards I do like.

Heroic Intuition buff stats, re-ready. Seems good.

Overall, I found this deck to be surprisingly effective. I say surprising because when I looked at the finished list I remember thinking "wow, this is a pile of garbage". But, I often found myself playing 2-3 colours a turn and re-readying at least once almost every turn. Consistently attacking/thwarting for a base of 4 twice a turn while never being able to get attacked thanks to Coulson is apparently actually a very good thing. I would highly recommend you try this list out, it was actually just great fun. I predict I will come back to this list next time there is a particularly tough villain, because it seemed just too powerful for regular play.

*probably 11 now cos Spider-Man says "delete a side scheme" if you're playing with 4 peeps

Did you get much use out of the triskelion? With only 5 allies it feels like you wouldn't get much use out of it.

Almost every game - looping Coulson takes a spot, and then the goal was to keep Captain marvel in play all game alongside Squirrel Girl and Hawkeye to abuse Teamwork and Earth's mightiest avengers. My Co-Op partner had many med-teams and first aids to keep Cap'n Marvel healthy.
