Con of Heroes 2024 - Betsy Sez I Prefer His Bad Boy Side

Deck number 10 in my Con of Heroes 2024 quiver was inspired by NelsonAllOver's Sidekick deck-building challenge. I built a not-suitable-for-multiplayer Star-Lord deck, but ended up liking this Angel deck enough (solo vs the later AoA villains) that I'm planning to bring it to the con.

The gameplan:

• Use Suit Up to grab Psylocke and Sidekick as soon as possible. Unfortunately, on turn 1, you won't be able to play them both unless also end up with a double resource in your hand so you may need to hold Sidekick for the next turn
• Have fun with Psylocke readying you for free most turns or at least attacking for no net consequential damage when you're in Angel form
• Flip down regularly to use Sidekick to heal Psylocke, as you do, and get some bonus healing via X-Mansion

Sideboard

• When playing solo, consider dropping Symbiote Suit
• In multiplayer, you may wish to drop either of the Player Side Schemes, depending on what others at the table are bringing

• Valkyrie's all "Come at Me Bro" - Perfect defense Protection with Taunt
• Overkilliest Valkyrie - Follow Through with Hand Cannons (Aggression)
• Brunnhilde's Mightiest Laser Swords - Laser Swords with an assist from Earth's Mightiest Heroes (Pool)
• Valyreye's in the Sky - Multiplayer thwarting with an Aerial twist (Justice)
• Suit Up for Brunnhilde Time! - Annabelle Riggs double draw and a bunch of other Alter-Ego focused shenanigans (Leadership)

Adam Warlock (hero):

• Adam Weihnachtsmann - The supportiest of support decks. Get out there and give some cards and card effects to your friends.
• Discolock, Combolock, Adam Warlock - Cute combos and lots of discard effects. Get after it Adam!
• Adam Warlock Fist Pump - Adam Warlock deep-dive on resources. Yes!
• Revenge of the Nerd Resources - Adam Warlock deep-dive on resources
• Lide the Rightning - Adam Warlock deep-dive on resources

Adam Warlock (ally)

• Accelerating Adam Warlock's Molecules - Gambit Leadership feeding those copies of Molecular Acceleration to our boy Adam.
• Storing Energy for the Magus - Similar to Gambit's deck but Bishop has three copies of Stored Energy and a built-in way to recur it.

Wolverine Ally:

• Game Time is a Tactic - A Cyclops deck looking to buff the Wolverine ally, use Game Time for multiple Wolverine activations and use Team Strike to take advantage of some high attack allies.
• Wolverine recruits Domino to the X-Men

Miscellaneous:

• Rocket's Best Bud - A War Machine Justice deck designed to support somebody playing Rocket.
• Betsy Sez I Prefer His Bad Boy Side - Psylocke sidekicks for Archangel and helps him get all the readies.
