Magik often seems like a glass cannon, but that doesn't matter so much when her friends are around to watch her back.
This "Mutant Protectors" build is designed with the intent of putting x-men into play on a regular basis while Magik does her work. The high number of support, upgrade and ally cards means her deck will get pretty thin, until you're eventually only playing her most impactful cards every turn.
With almost half the deck being energy resource, Magic Barrier and Mystical armor should be easily activated, allowing Magik to do a substantial amount of reflexive damage.
I'd honestly like to find more room for X-men Instruction and Mutant Education. X-men instruction can make sure I always have my best allies available and Mutant Education can get stepping disk.
So yeah.. the plan is really just Rush through my deck, while putting my most needed cards back in so I can play them every turn.
