Allies in this deck serve a purpose. You can use Professor X for a massive thwart with Save the Day, or also have him hit for 3 after thwarting. Chump blocking is not as necessary with Iceman due to stacking Frostbite.
Build Support gets out Uncanny X-Men, Call for Backup gets Beast, and Superpower Training can get your Power Belt or Cryokinetic Perception.
Utopia allows you to Ready Iceman as you put out X-Men Allies.
