This has been tested (and won!) against the core set and Venom Goblin, all scenarios played with Standard II.

The main idea is to play Utopia as soon as possible. The amount of allies played will let you play one every turn consistently. The idea behind the allies is simple, play them, exhaust Utopia and ready Wolverine. Professor X will let you ready him even 1 extra time!

You can use your allies as meat shields or you can defend yourself the villains attacks.

If the match draws too long, defending + Berserker Frenzy will let you draw one extra card.

Your Wolverine's Claws will be used to play wolverine cards for "free" (remember to take damage accordingly) or you can use Mean Swing for extra damage on your basic attacks.

The setup will let you play one ally, one event and attack twice every turn!

Also, Jubilee is a great ally that boosts your basic attacks. Remember that her boost lasts until the end of the phase! so if you manage to attack twice, that's effectively a +4 damage

If you got AoA expansion, feel free to swap Mockingbird around for another X-Men.

Also, I find Nick Fury very useful to renew your hand if ever needed, but you can also swap him around for another X-Men
