Leo Fitz and Jemma Simmons are a natural fit for War Machine. Getting them out early will speed up setting up his kit, as well as provide access to the 6 other tech cards in this deck, which can then be put into play for additional defense or simply use Leo to draw them into your hand to act as an additional resource.

Between the Energy Barrier, Forcefield Generator, Hard Knocks, What Doesn't Kill Me and Upgraded Chassis cards, War Machine has incredible durability and his trips to alter-ego should mostly be just to reload ammo counters.

While you generally won't want to Repurpose your War Machine Tech cards, your protection Tech are perfect targets for it when they get low on uses.

This deck has faced problems in Solo play with threat management when it can't rush the villain down. When paired with a solid Justice deck in multiplayer, it has worked very well. I hope you can find some other fun uses and tweaks with it to see what it can do for you.

Looks good. A couple of questions

  • Any reason on having 2x helicarrier?
  • Power in all of us doesn't have that many targets? Assuming you get the discount on Jemma and Simmons
  • Hard knocks without minion summoning?

I think this deck could be even better once Silk comes out.

Thanks for the feedback. 2x Helicarrier - Primarily to help guarantee an early game Helicarrier. I found this deck works better with one out, so best to make sure you don't have it buried at the bottom of the deck. With Leo able to fish out the tech you need, it is good to have the ability to reduce cost in play beforehand. Power in all of us - Few targets, agreed, but they are all very valuable targets and having it there helps the odds of affording them when they show up. Provides a little insurance if Leo or Jemma show up in a hero form hand when flipping down is a bad decision. Hard Knocks - This is a protection deck and attack card options are limited. Even if you don't get a minion, it's a way to drop 4 more damage. A far better option when a minion is present. Not a vital part of the kit however, easily switched out for something else you like more. Silk - Ready for a fight would be great paired with Upgraded Chassis. Flip down at the end of your turn, reload, and then let the villain flip you back over with Tough. Sweet.

Giving it a little more thought, switching out one of the Helicarriers for Quincarrier makes more sense than the double Helicarrier. I realized that since I was setting up as a multiplayer deck I had left the option for other players to use the Quincarrier in the play group. As a more generalized deck, the Quincarrier makes more sense and can be subbed out depending on your play group needs.

It seems you could easily drop 1 of each Energy Barrier, what doesn't kill me, and forcefield generator to add some allies like Black Widow, Nick Fury, and Nova.

If also drop Not Today completely as your deck doesn't seem to want to defend much, and add 1 more SHIELD ally or even Endurance/Honary Avenger.
