COMMENCE OPERATION PREPARATION H

this deck is called Preparation H because it's centered around Maria Hill, and her use of several preparation cards.

How does it work?

Well, this deck is a unique little deck that relies on preparations. So often there's something lurking up on you from behind, and before you know it, you're in a world of hurt. Well, there's a solution to that! The Rapid Response of Preparation H! Then, using Practiced Plan, you get that Rapid Response right back to your hand!

WAIT! Was that Bryan Cranston?

But what does it do? Well, it'll bring back allies like Ghost-Spider or Kaluu instantly! Ghost-Spider is amazing at finding very useful events in your deck like All-Points Bulletin, On the Double, or Reinforcements! Imagine getting this when your back is up against the wall and grabbing The Hard Call and clearing the board with The Iliad! BOARD WIPE!

How does Ghost-Spider come into play?

Well, say hello to [Make the Call](/card/01071)! She can pull Ghost-Spider from the grave-er discard pile, and bring her back into action! You can even add [Call for Backup](/card/40018) to the board, and clear it when you need her.

Where does the damage come from??

Well, outside of The Hard Call, there's also [The Bellerophon](/card/50018) and [Dum Dum Dugan](/card/27047). Both are able to be readied multiple times and can hit for a wallop (The Bellerophon isn't an attack either, getting around stunned)! Flood the board with more S.H.I.E.L.D. supports to give Dum Dum the ability to hit hard each attack. But don't forget that [Field Agent](/card/27044) can soften the blow from the consequential damage.

What else is in the box?

Well, with Maria making every ally a S.H.I.E.L.D. ally while in hero form, cards like [Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.](/card/50015) will help make encounter cards less threatening. Then there's [Build Support](/card/40027), which will bring out [IPAC](/card/41022). IPAC you can't play normally, so you need to cheat it in, but for only the cost of an encounter card, you get to draw 2 more cards! Then there's [The Pericles](/card/50020), arguably the best Helicarrier in the whole game. Giving you TOUGH status' and your allies too (Dum Dum gets a free attack!!!!)
Some people want to add [Beast](/card/33011) to the deck as a target for Rapid Response, but it's not necessary as you'll want to find Maria's events and not necessarily resource cards. But to each their own.
