We Know Cap can do it all day, but with this deck, he can do it all evening too. The cards chosen for this protection suite are all able to be used even if you're exhausted to help mitigate if not outright block damage coming into your allies from across the board. Then, Get Behind Me and Black Widow can show up if there's a particularly nasty card that's about to wreck the board-state. Cap's got great economy so you can do quite a bit from turn to turn once you get to your second deck pass!
Smooth and Heroic. "Bulwark" is the correct term to deny the Villain's efforts all around the table. Any of these Defense traited cards will redirect the attack to Cap, and trigger a retaliate damage off his Shield. Maybe adding and Electrostatic Armor would increase the ping damage back for all Cap's bulwarking.
Also, I'm pretty sure that whoever is playing this deck should be contractually obligated to say "I can do this all day!" Whenever they block an attack or cancel a treachery.
