For Con of Heroes 2025, there were three prevailing themes spoiled: Web-Warriors, S.H.I.E.L.D, and Aerial. After the previous year I was really inspired to bring a single hero in every aspect. Spider-Woman happened to fit the themes and is my favorite hero. So I present the 10 Flavors of Spider-Woman

Burden of Responsibility

Started as wanting to play Quick Quip and Thwip Thwip! in the same deck. Realized in order to do that I'd need to get Spider-Woman Web-Warrior traited. If I'm going to run Web-Warrior and Superpower cards, I felt the need to add Spider-Tingle. If I'm running Spider-Tingle, Intelligence feels like a great addition to know what I'm going to Spider-Tingle. At that point Spider-Woman is a spy, so I may as well add Spycraft.

Goal 1

Warrior of the Great Web or Scarlet Spider, so we can use Quick Quip, Thwip Thwip!, and Spider-Tingle.

Goal 2

Get out Spycraft, Spider-Tingle, and Intelligence.

Goal 3

Activate Intelligence when you either and another copy of Intelligence to replace your on board copyOR you are going to get 2 encounter cards. Goal here is to give Spider-Woman the bad cards that she can cancel with Spycraft and Spider-Tingle.

Goal 4

Use Quick Quip, Thwip Thwip!, and Spider-Woman kit to stun/confuse/tough.

Reflections

This was by far my favorite deck I built for the Con of Heroes. The amount of control provided by this deck was amazing. It really shines in multi-Villain scenarios.

Finding space for extra encounter cards provides higher value when you are controlling the deck. Spycraft and Spider-Tingle are limited to "you". Therefore the more cards "you" have the more you are able to take bad cards from your team. For example: Star-Lord, Symbiote Suit, etc.. The problem for Spider-Woman is most of these are in basic, so your kit does a poor job in helping pay for them.
