"You're the best of all of us, Miles. You're on your way. Just keep going." —Aaron Davis
Have you ever heard of the Winning Hand podcast? Check it out on YouTube or wherever podcasts are found!
Their latest episode covered the Core Set classic, Great Responsibility — and by "classic," I mean the kind of card you quickly sub out as soon as you buy more packs.
But their episode had a lot of great points about fun uses of the card and it inspired this deck!
Overall, this is a very solid, strong Spider-Man: Miles Morales deck. However, it does include Great Responsibility, specifically as a way to counter an untimely Advance while in hero form. What you will want to do is probably flip to alter-ego after playing Swing In, so that you are tough and the villain is confused. The next turn, flip to hero form and play Web-Shot to stun the villain. Now in the following turns, if he schemes due to Advance, soak all of that threat on your tough status. Or if you aren't tough, you also have a great REC for getting that health back.
Another fun dynamic: Show of Empathy and Face the Past. It's time to redeem Uncle Aaron! Unlike usual, do not play Face the Past the first time you see it, unless you have already played out Show of Empathy. Once you have Show of Empathy, play Face the Past, and you can quickly redeem the Prowler with triple thwarting from Miles and Peter, or a single Swing In with Passion for Justice. You can also help keep Peter and Uncle Aaron alive with First Aid.
If you really want to see Great Responsibility pop off, make sure you're playing multiplayer — it's quite a small chance to really get a use of it in solo. But whether you're playing solo or multiplayer, make sure you complete the Redeem Uncle Aaron side quest!

This looks like a ton of fun! I've been having a blast messing around with singleton decks, and this one looks right up my alley.
