Playing Defense: Bishop Goes Justice After having a blast with Bishop's Aggression build and all those explosive turns, I got curious about what would happen if I flipped the script and went full control mode with Justice. This deck is all about staying one step ahead of the villain while keeping Bishop's incredible resource generation running smoothly. In multiplayer games, this becomes your "steady Eddie" role—you're the one clearing out problematic side schemes, slowing down the main scheme, and making sure everyone gets clean shots at victory. If Aggression Bishop is a sledgehammer, this version is more like a chess master.

Staying Ahead of Trouble The whole strategy revolves around seeing problems before they become disasters. Cards like Clear the Area, Making an Entrance, and Followed let Bishop deal with immediate threats while setting up longer-term control. Since he generates resources like crazy, you can often chain together multiple thwart events in a single turn. Stealth Strike is particularly nice here because it pulls double duty—taking out minions without having to ignore scheme progress. With allies like Dazzler, Nick Fury, and the Stepford Cuckoos backing you up, you've always got the right tool for whatever the villain throws at you.

Not Just a Sitting Duck Sure, Justice isn't known for big damage numbers, but Bishop isn't completely toothless either. Between Concussive Blast, Stealth Strike, and a fully-loaded Bishop's Rifle, he can still pick off minions or chip away at the villain while staying in hero form. The key is knowing when to strike—saving your damage for moments that really count, while trusting the Justice toolkit to keep things from getting out of hand.

The Engine That Makes It Work Just like with the Aggression build, Bishop's Uniform and all his resource cards are what make everything click. Passion for Justice, Stored Energy, and Digging Deep don't just fuel your big thwart turns—they keep you in hero mode longer by making your recovery phases quick and efficient. That means less time flipping to alter-ego, fewer missed opportunities, and more turns where you can shut down the villain's plans before they even get started.
