my hot take - if you're new to Marvel Champions you should start out with The Core Set & Next Evolution. (and Black Widow to get Quincarrier) in my opinion its the honorary core set - those three items. you get the essential core set standard and expert mods, the two best heroes in the game (Domino & Cable), a bunch of side schemes as well as the #1 main target for Build Support: Quincarrier
so here's Domino with Core Set and Next Evolution cards only.
Im running this thru both the 3 Core Set villains and all 5 of the Next Evolution villains.
i think this is a great way for new players to learn Domino as well as show how awesome the Hulk ally can be.
you can heal him for up to 4 with painted lady, you can safely swing for 3+2 with Hulk due to Domino's hero ability to swap a card and he's grest for blocking because there's a really good chance he won't get knocked out from one villain hit.
he also sets up Domino to tank all the villain swings with probability field and Lucky And Good by being able to pretty reliably swing for 5. in addition to Domino’s pistols with 3x sharpshooter in the deck, it makes buildout very straightforward.
once you get the basics of defending with with probability field and Lucky And Good while attacking with pistols, sharpshooter and Hulk you can move on to trying to get The Posse event to hit if the villain is even still alive.
3x Helicarrier, 3x Mansion and 3x Sharpshooter ensure good early buildout.
the 3 sideschemes ensure good 1st deck pass buildout.
i hope you enjoy it.
I'll give this deck a try!
I agree with Black Widow for Quincarrier, but you could also go with Wasp or War Machine to get it, based on personal preferences and play style.
Of these three heroes tough, Black Widow is my favorite, so it's a good recommendation!
Some cards only found in these packs (at the time I'm writing this):
There are others of course, but these stand out to me.
Next Evolution is also my favorite campaign, so I highly recommend it too :)
