He's the one that makes you feel alright - Mötley Crüe

This Dr. Strange deck is designed as an ultimate control build. Its primary goal is not to win quickly, but to develop a resilient, unbreakable fortress of defensive cards, healing supports, and mystic barriers.

The Healing Ward
A key feature of this deck is its remarkable healing capacity. It makes it very difficult for the villain to inflict lasting damage.

Med Team Overload: By including three copies of Med Team, you ensure a consistent and reliable source of healing options. They can be used to keep Doctor Strange at full health or, especially in multiplayer, to assist your teammates by healing their characters.

Bringing the Hospital: The Night Nurse and Dr. Sinclair act as your emergency healing cards, capable of removing status cards or providing substantial healing when most needed. This allows you to effectively withstand even significant hits from the villain.

Key Cards and Synergies
Allies: Your allies serve specialized roles, much like surgical tools. Wong is central to your engine, enabling you to cycle through Doctor Strange’s Invocation deck efficiently. Brother Voodoo helps search and retrieve your event cards. Protective wards are essential, and Clea offers a dependable, recurring blocker. Jocasta provides a way to recover defense events from your discard pile.

Sanctum Sanctorum and Mystical Studies: Don’t hesitate to flip down to Alter-Ego when needed. With your defenses in place, use the Sanctum and Mystical Studies to return your wards to the deck for continued use.

Resource Generation: Cards like Helicarrier and Quincarrier are crucial, providing the resources necessary to pay for your costly events and supports, thereby keeping your engine running smoothly.

Second Wind: Use this card to perform significant heals when necessary.

In the early game, the focus is on setup. Build your board by deploying supports and upgrades. Use Med Teams and Second Wind to heal as needed, and rely on your protective wards to counteract treacheries. Flip down to Alter-Ego when appropriate to reset and shuffle your wards back into the deck using Mystical Studies and the Sanctum. Utilize your Invocation deck to draw the right cards at the right time.

While this deck performs well solo, it can be even more enjoyable in multiplayer settings, providing healing and support to your teammates.
