My biggest issue with Bishop in other decks was that it seemed like there were too many times I had wasted resources if I drew too many. Pool gave me many ways to fix that issue and, to me, it created more consistency in the character's performance.

Tic-Tac-Toe, Stick-to-Itiveness, Plan B, and Plot Convenience all give you ways to use the extra resource cards (or any good card that is situational since you can sometimes lose your key cards to Energy Absorption) you may get stuck with on a turn in addition to your normal Super Charged.

Mulligan is insane in this deck as it allows you to use a few cards to stand, heal, do some damage...and then still reload your hand and have a regular turn. Once you are set up it can almost feel like 'pay 3 for a second turn.'

Speaking of consistency, a big part of the build is redundancy of mechanics. You have stand from multiple sources, resource dumps from multiple sources, econ from a bunch of sources, and back up plans to reload your hand if you drew a dead hand. I just wanted to minimize the turns where you get stuck with a bad draw in a deck that can be really random. The only two key pieces that you have to get and lack backup options are definitely Healing Factor and Bishop's Uniform. With those I only ever need to drop to Alter-Ego if I want to grab a temporal card or if I took 2-3 attacks in a turn. Otherwise there are few enemies that can out damage the healing and damage mitigation those two cards can produce.

Laser Swords and Live Dangerously are honestly kind of 'Win More,' and may be completely unnecessary to the deck. If you take the swords out, then Side Holster can also get pulled if you remove the Laser Swords. They might be the fun meme the deck is named after, but a third mulligan or another ally, such as Marrow, might serve better if you are looking to optimize. The only reason Marrow isn't just in the deck is that it is currently being used in a 4 player campaign and a teammate has 3x Uncanny X-Men.

This deck has won solo playing Expert II/III against at least 10 different Villains and is doing serious work for the team in the campaign. Being able to go without blocking and let my allies cover for others has been a gigantic boon on its own, let alone the massive damage and solid threat removal I can generate. I also am frequently the one clearing the enemy attachments due to my copious resources.
