This deck turns Hulk’s biggest weakness — tiny hand size — into a strength by outsourcing all the thinking, card draw, and setup to Amadeus Cho, who becomes the true engine of the deck. Once Cho is online with his upgrades, Hulk stops stumbling and starts steamrolling, chaining attacks and support events in a way he normally can’t sustain. The result is a deck that feels like piloting a runaway freight train: slow to start, unstoppable once rolling.
Your entire early game revolves around one goal: get Amadeus Cho into play immediately.
- Cameo guarantees you can fetch Cho on setup.
- Suit Up is your mulligan priority — it’s your fastest, cleanest way to draw Cho directly.
- Once Cho is in hand, your next priorities are:
- Sidekick for the additional HP, and ability to use Side by Side
- Honorary Avenger — makes Cho eligible for all your Avenger synergies.
- Sky Cycle — turns Cho from “card draw engine” into “card draw engine that never sleeps.” With these pieces, Cho becomes a repeatable source of cards, tempo, and board presence — exactly what Hulk needs to stop bricking turns.
Once Cho is online, the deck shifts gears dramatically.
- Cho’s repeated activations keep your hand full enough that Hulk can actually play cards instead of discarding them.
- Side by Side becomes a massive payoff: Hulk’s huge base stats + Cho’s readying = explosive turns.
- Cho’s extra activations also help clean up thwarting, smoothing out Hulk’s biggest gameplay gap. This is the moment the deck “clicks”: Hulk stops feeling like a hero fighting his own kit and starts feeling like the unstoppable force he’s meant to be.
With Cho fully upgraded and Hulk swinging freely:
- You can chain Side by Side, Sky Cycle, and Hulk’s natural damage spikes to delete minions and chunk the villain.
- Hulk’s resource issues fade because Cho is feeding him cards every turn.
- The deck becomes a rhythm: Cho draws → Hulk smashes → Cho readies → Hulk smashes again. Villains that normally punish Hulk for his inconsistency suddenly find themselves overwhelmed by a green avalanche of damage and tempo.

Mar 04, 2026Love the idea for the deck. I'm guessing the first couple of turns must be a bit slow and rough. -2 cards in the opening hand (from Cameo) means you're not getting Cho in play and an attachment on him turn 1 (unless I'm missing something). How do you play the first 2-3 hands? |
Mar 04, 2026Yes, ideally your first turn is try and get a suit up in your hand which you have about above 55% chance to hit on mulligan. With 3 cards you will have enough to pay for suit up, and then you stay in alter ego form so you can keep sidekick and cho. Next turn you will have 5 cards to start 3 of those a can be used for cho, and side kick, and then you can jump up to hero form and start wailing. Then going forward with his large hit pool, you should be able to stay in hero form and start beating the villians down. If you don't get suit up, play any card that will increase resources, Deft Focus, Clarity of Purpose, Helicarrier, Ingenuity, banner's lab, etc. Once you either get a suit up or cho himself then depending on the resource capability play him out. If you don't get him first turn I suggest just going into hero form and punch something. I have recently added black knight, to assist in the pesky "Tough" characters, also, have found that having another ally as a target to get the remaining upgrades for cho is very good. |
Awesome use of Cameo Cho! I've been working on several Cameo Cho decks as well and the Sky Cycle puts him over the top. Resource Reserve is a stellar card for Hulk too! Overall, this looks really solid. Well done!
