Mass Attack: Hero Action (attack): Exhaust 3 allies you control that share a TRAIT with your hero → deal X damage to an enemy, where X is the total ATK of those allies AND YOUR HERO.

Wonder Man favors dealing damage without making a basic attack. Thus cards like Teamwork and Unified Strike have been staples in his decks. Both of these require exhausting the hero. The Mass Attack event adds Wonder Man's attack without exhausting him, leaving the hero free to thwart.

Push Ahead makes use of his boosted ATK stat to remove more threat with Clarity of Purpose on hand to provide the required mental resource. Of course, this could be replaced with any energy icon thwart event (like Everywhere All at Once) to manage multiple schemes, but Push Ahead exploits not exhausting the hero with Mass Attack.

Allies need to stay in play to power up Mass Attack, so Wonder Man will be defending. Since Mass Attack doesn't require the hero to exhaust, he can use his basic defense without worrying about needing to be ready in the player phase. Use Earth's Mightiest Heroes to ready the appropriate character, including Wonder Man.

Mighty Avengers, of course, boosts the ATK of every ally. Lead from the Front raises the ATK of all allies and Wonder Man. Black Panther can sit while holding the single copy of Avengers Assemble! until the most opportune moment. Goliath (temporarily) and Giant-Man (perhaps permanently) have the highest ATK for Avenger allies. White Tiger and Yellow Jacket will cycle out to make use of their ally abilities. Avengers Compound can hold any ally until a spot opens up. Avengers Tower and Triskelion open additional ally slots.
