Hi guys this is my updated Phoenix leadership deck X-Men Unite.

This Phoenix Leadership deck is designed to exploit Jean Grey’s unique Restrained/Unleashed mechanic to control the board early and overwhelm the villain late with a swarm of X-Men.

Core Strategy: The Balance of Power The deck revolves around the Phoenix Force permanent upgrade, which starts on the Restrained side with 4 power counters.

Early Game (Restrained): Focus on threat control. Phoenix starts with a high 3 Thwart (THW) stat while restrained, allowing her to easily clear Side Schemes like Build Support or Call for Backup on turn one.
+1

The Transition: Use power counters as wild resources to play expensive supports like The X-Jet or Cerebro. Be careful: when the last counter is spent, you flip to Unleashed, which boosts your attack but drops your THW and risks bringing out Dark Phoenix via your obligation.

Late Game (Unleashed): Once your board is set, flip to Unleashed to maximize damage. Your events like Telekinetic Attack and Psychic Blast become significantly more powerful in this form.

Key Card Synergies The "Psionic" Engine: Phoenix is one of the few heroes who can use "Psionic" cards. Psychic Kicker is a standout here; use it to ready an ally (like Cyclops or Angel) and give them a stat boost for a massive burst turn.
+1

X-Men Support Swarm:

Uncanny X-Men: Reduces the cost of all X-Men allies.

Cerebro: Allows you to tutor for specific allies like Professor X (for confuses/readying) or Pixie (to recycle allies).

To Me, My X-Men!: Use this to cheat expensive allies into play for free. Even if they return to your hand, you can often replay them for cheap thanks to Uncanny X-Men.

Mind Control: A signature Phoenix upgrade that lets you take control of a non-Elite minion. This is excellent for turning a high-damage enemy into a temporary ally to soak up hits or deal damage.

Pro Tips for Playing Phoenix

+1 Don't Defend: Phoenix has a small health pool and high-value basic actions. Use your many allies to block for you so you can stay in hero form as much as possible only defend when you have no other choice.

Stay Prepared: Always try to get Rise from the Ashes into play early. It acts as a safety net that heals you for a massive amount if you would be defeated, effectively giving you a second life.
+1

White Hot Room: This support is your best friend in Alter-Ego. It can either generate a resource to help build your board or heal you while you're waiting to flip back to hero form.
