Defense Upgrade Installed

This Protection build is designed to thin out the deck so that using Aunt May & Uncle Ben will more consistently bring her hero-specific cards to hand. That means putting upgrades and supports into play with few allies and additional events.

Spider-Man: Peter Parker and Otto Octavius will be clutch to ready SP//dr and a tech upgrade along with drawing a card. White Fox can enter play with the discard from Aunt May & Uncle Ben, along with adding Digging Deep to hand.

Given her ability to generate each of the resource types, Multitalented will make the cut as an additional event.

That leaves upgrades and supports:

Web of Life and Destiny (though this can be cut if playing with another web-warrior hero using it in multiplayer).

Downtime and Endurance for recovery and HP buffs. Safely flip to alter-ego while staying Ready for a Fight.

Armored Vest + Defensive Conditioning nets +2 to base DEF. Ping damage with Electrostatic Armor when defending. Make card draw from Unflappable more consistent by deflecting damage with Energy Barriers and the Forcefield Generator.

Indomitable helps keep SP//dr ready in the hero phase. It's not limited to one per player so all 3 can be out at once.
