D20 Woodworking and VillainTheory have a 2-hour overview of the Jessica Jones hero preview.

In that wide-ranging discussion her alter-ego ability to flip from alter-ego to hero form one additional time per hero phase is a focal point. VillainTheory quickly notices that Lay Down the Law will be remarkably consistent value for her. This led me to consider simulating the ability using Spider-Woman's dual-trait deck-building to combine Ready for a Fight and Lay Down the Law.

Finesse reliably provides a mental resource for Lay Down the Law to get maximum value, but Sense of Justice is still on hand so that even more aspect cards can boost SW's basic stats via Superhuman Agility. Defensive Conditioning and Heroic Conditioning will already consistently raise the floor +2 for THW and DEF.

Might as well lean in to the bounty of wild resources with other requirement-specific events: What Doesn't Kill Me. This will ready Spider-Woman, as will Justice Served when clearing all threat from a scheme (including the main scheme).

Skilled Investigator and Unflappable, as well as Clear the Area provide additional card draw to hopefully play more aspect cards each turn. Give Captain Marvel the Energy Shield to prevent consequential damage by exhausting one copy of Finesse.

With additional time in alter-ego, use Defensive Training and Vigilante Training to cycle events back into the deck, including her hero/aspect powerhouses Inconspicuous and Contaminant Immunity.
