Web of Protection: Threat Control is a Silk Protection deck built around defending frequently and turning those defenses into consistent threat control. Silk excels at staying ready, staying safe, and using every villain attack as a chance to stabilize the main scheme.

The deck’s ready‑engine works in two directions. On one side, ready effects let Silk defend multiple times per round. On the other side, those same ready moments give Silk the freedom to pivot into a decisive action: a burst through Repurpose with Forcefield Generator, or using her silk sense with Outwit and Spider Claws. Being ready is never just about blocking again; it’s about choosing the strongest follow‑up.

This dual function creates a smooth cycle: Silk defends, readies, removes threat, and then decides whether to defend again or use her refreshed action to push the board further under control. Each defense contributes to threat management, and each ready trigger opens new tactical options.

The result is a deck where Silk keeps the villain contained through constant protection while weaving in powerful, well‑timed actions whenever she resets. She blocks, readies, removes threat, and repeats, maintaining a stable board state and keeping the city safe inside her web.

Great idea! Was fixing to do some kind of web-warrior defense build, but looked at SP//DR. Never considered Silk!
