SP//dr already plays differently from almost every other hero in Marvel Champions. So why not make it even weirder?
This Pool deck takes advantage of Peni Parker's unusual economy, constant readying, and powerful interface upgrades to create a toolbox full of strange little ways to turn resources into value.
The core remains pure SP//dr. All Systems Go!, Limitless Stamina, Rapid Deployment, and her interfaces allow Peni and the SP//dr Suit to keep activating long after most heroes would be exhausted. Stick-To-Itiveness adds yet another ready to the machine whenever you can provide the required resource.
Pool then gives that economy somewhere to go. Tic-Tac-Toe converts spare resources into incremental damage, while cards like Get in Front of Me!, Get Rage-y, and Not My Responsibility provide situational tools rather than forcing the deck into a single game plan.
Plot Convenience is the deck's storage compartment. Pool cards that aren't useful right now can be tucked away and retrieved when the situation calls for them, giving Peni even more control over an already flexible toolkit.
The Web-Warrior package keeps the deck firmly rooted in SP//dr's identity. Across the Spider-Verse gives access to a diverse group of Web-Warrior allies, providing damage, threat control, defense, and utility while Peni assembles her interfaces.
Once the suit is fully operational, the deck becomes a machine with an absurd number of buttons. Ready the Suit. Ready Peni. Use an interface. Recover it. Spend another resource somewhere else. Bring in another Spider. Then do it all again.
It may be a Pool deck, but chaos isn't the strategy.
Build the machine. Push every button. See how many times SP//dr can move before the villain gets another turn.
