Cable - Man on a mission

Cable always has another mission.

This deck turns Player Side Schemes into a toolbox, allowing Cable to build his board, support his X-Force allies, and prepare for whatever comes next.

Purge the Technovirus

The first priority is simple:

Defeat Technovirus Purge as quickly as possible.

Once it is defeated, Cable gains the PSIONIC trait and unlocks the full potential of cards like Mind Scan and Psychic Kicker.

Get the virus out of Nathan's system.

Then get to work.

Choose the Mission

The deck includes a large selection of Player Side Schemes because Cable is built to exploit them.

Build Support, Call for Backup, Establish Perimeter, Rally the Troops, Specialized Training and Take Out the Guards each provide a different tool depending on what the team needs.

With Mission Leader in play, defeating a side scheme also lets every player draw a card.

Finish one mission.

Start another.

Lead X-Force

Deadpool, Deathlok, Domino, Fantomex, Pete Wisdom, Sunspot and X-23 give Cable a full X-Force roster.

Uncanny X-Force makes the entire team better at dealing with side schemes, which is exactly where Cable wants them working.

And when consequential damage starts piling up, Rally the Troops can heal 2 damage from every ally at once.

The team isn't disposable.

Keep them operational.

Psychic Firepower

Once Cable becomes PSIONIC, his offensive engine comes fully online.

Mind Scan handles threat while Psychic Kicker lets Cable turn his allies into even more value.

Meanwhile, Cable's signature weapons and upgrades make Nathan increasingly dangerous as the game progresses.

The longer the mission lasts, the more prepared he becomes.

Mission Accomplished

Cable doesn't solve every problem the same way.

He brings the right people, establishes the right objective, and completes one mission after another until the villain has nowhere left to go.

Purge the virus. Assemble X-Force. Complete the mission.

Then move on to the next one.
