I created this deck to participate in a "Web-Warriors" themed event. Having already prepared two "Protection" decks, I decided to build a "Justice" deck for Silk, even though her base stats aren't the best.
CORE IDEA
The core idea is to play J. Jonah Jameson as early as possible to get Get the Scoop into play. By triggering this as often as we can throughout the game, we can activate Skilled Investigation to draw a card, and use Overwatch to thwart on other schemes.
Another essential piece to play early is Get the Scoop, which allows us to activate Silk multiple times in a single turn. To use it, however, we need encounter cards tucked under Silk; this makes playing Albert Moon a priority, as he forces us to switch forms frequently. While in alter-ego mode, we can use the abilities of our hero, Albert Moon, and J. Jonah Jameson, before flipping back to hero form to take advantage of Lay Down the Low.
WEB WORRIOR
To assist with this setup, I’ve included only Web-Warrior allies (as required by the theme), which synergize well with Web of Life and Destiny and Across the Spider-Verse. My favorites are Spider-Man, Ghost-Spider, and SP//dr—plus, you can't have a Justice deck without a Spider-Man! I opted against allies like Lady Spider, Madame Web, or Spider-Woman due to their high cost.
Initially, I included Team-Building Exercise to help offset the costs for the Web-Warriors, but there were too many situations where I needed that cost reduction without necessarily having to play an ally. So, I opted for Ingenuity instead; given my constant form-switching, I can easily play it and make use of it at any time.
PLAYER SIDE SCHEME
Additional support comes from the player side schemes Superpower Training and Build Support, which help us retrieve key components of our main strategy, as well as supports and upgrades—such as Helicarrier, Ingenuity, and Deft Focus—that help offset our costs.
