You might not have Quicksilver so this comment could be useless but you should look into Never Back Down. If you don't take damage (which is the whole point of Spidey Protection) you can stun the attacking enemy. This throws off your always defending turn cycle but a stun for 1 is op.
It will eventually give you a free turn after the next round or you can defend against a minion and get your two cards.
But that said I am excited to try this build out... Spidey might become my solid choice at #6 hero on the power scale.
