hello, here’s an updated version of the sweet OTK (one turn kill) deck for quicksilver. he’s an awesome hero with unlimited potential.
this is an OTK deck (one turn kill). the idea is to set up your board state and just maintain the board against the villain and then you have that turn where you just pop off and take down both stages (1&2 or 2&3 for expert) in one turn. you can pull this off in 2 player/2 handed as well. ideally you would get to an 8/9 ATk and attack 9-11 times that turn. leadership allows us to get there because they have the most buff effects in the game. this updated version is even more consistent with the addition of the Symbiote Suit Kaluu and Go All Out
allies: I want cheap allies, they are basically Strength in Numbers engines because I want to go off with pietro, I might use an ally to block or thwart but they aren’t here for damage. Kaluu helps smooth out some consistency issues you could have, he’s really awesome here.
events:
Morale Boost is really good with QS because we know he’s gonna ready so much
Strength In Numbers is just silly. we can get to 5 here and 6 if you add triskelion allies out on the board, allowing us to draw tons of cards a game which most makes us even more efficient.
Avengers Assemble!is here to give us that final +1 the round we pop and to reset our allies to get a second strength in numbers off in one round to draw 10 cards.
Go All Out is a crazy finisher, we can get to +20 composite stats pretty consistently and this card we can OTK almost by itself without all the readying/attacking. it adds another layer to make this deck even more consistent.
upgrades:
Adrenaline Rush another atk booster, we want to get all of these out to use our pop off round
Symbiote Suit gives up +1 to each stat, +1 hand size and +10 HP. this card is better in QS than any other deck, since the amount of readying he does he gets the most mileage out of it. the hand size helps our consistency, now you are playing on heroic with this card but the payoff is worth it in QS. this deck specifically getting to a max 30 go all out attack is ridiculous.
so how are we doing this much damage? reinforced sinew- +1 ATK taking us to 2 adrenaline rush x3- +1 ATK ea taking us to 5 morale boost x3 - +1 ATK taking us to 8 maximum velocity - +2 ATK taking us to 10 sumbiote suit - +1 atk taking us to 11
so play strength in numbers when we are set up to draw a bunch, attack with quicksilver, he readies, we attack again. then use Avengers Assemble to ready everyone and get that +1 attack taking us to 12, then we use strength in numbers again and draw another 5, now we can use our cards to ready to attack 4 more times for a total damage of 71 damage just from attacking.
now we have the added go all out play where we deal damage to an enemy based on our composite stat total which can be 29 in this deck with all the boosts to our stats between Morale BoostMaximum Velocity Adrenaline RushAvengers Assemble! Symbiote Suitand the 3 QS upgrades that give +1 to their respective stats.
71 from basic attacks and 29 from a go all out is 100 total damage in one turn if you pull the whole combo off, which is hard but with good Strength In Numbersdraws you can get it. (if my math is slightly off, forgive me I’m not a mathematician)
obviously you don’t need to even get that many resets in for a solo game, but you see the potential here, lots of our cards stay on the table so when we are set up and we use strength in numbers we should see the cards we need to get it done .
i think the go all out line really makes this deck less of a meme and a lot more consistent.
have fun!
i would recommend maybe finding room for a Quincarrier if you find paying the requirement in to all out us hard for you.
How are you getting more than 5 allies? 3, +1 from Tower, +1 from Stinger.
Do you need The Triskelion?
What is the "soon 7 allies" thing? A recently spoiled card?
