This deck is focused around two cards: Wolverine and Nightcrawler.
Your goal in this deck ist to buff up 'Wolverine with Enraged and Attack Training.
Now with Boot Camp, Wolvi is at whopping 7 attack. play a Team Strike and he wont take consequential damage. You can let him do his basic attack from time to time, since he heals each round wich adds another 7 damage.
The reason i used Cyclops for this deck is quite simple: With access to Nightcrawler you can effectivly play an ally each round (The X-Jet provides you with the needed energy resource), who also negates an attack each round so you can use Utopia each round and use your other allies for Teamstrike or thwarting if necessary.
A lot of X-Men cards are in this deck, so two Team-Building Exercise help you playing multiple cards each turn. All your allies have the X-Men trait, and as soon as you get Cerebro and Phoenix you can search your deck each round for an X-Men ally and trigger one Team-Building Exercise every round, looking for the perfect solution for you every time.

Nov 24, 2022It seems to me that Team Strike doesn´t have any sinergy with Exploit Weakness (on the contrary). If you pull all allies together to make an attack on the villain, Exploit Weakness will increase damage by one, instead of bt the sum of attacks of allies and hero without Team Strike. Am I right? |
Nov 28, 2022absolutley true You are absolutely right. But: Teamstrike lets you use Wolverine more often and lets him attack even if you would not be able to this round because he has to regenerate some more hp before he can attack again (with Enraged he takes a whopping 3 consequentiual damage, making him 3 rounds long useless). If you wish to use Exploit Weakness to its best, better play it in a round where Wolvy can attack or ready him with Game Time to finish of the Villain quickly! |
