Hi welcome to the fifth in a series of decks I plan to build directly influenced by the amazing Get Up and Game! Perfect Match-Up series found here: https://youtu.be/1I2q3sT6FoA Please check out the channel and the video since I thought it was an amazing gift to the community and it inspired me to start playing Champions more regularly.

My goal with this series is to create a unique deck inspired by each challenge match-up in the video using all the suggested cards plus some of my own to create a deck that any player can use to check out the challenge. If you’re missing some cards from a deck please ask in the comments and I’ll do my best to find replacements from your collection so that you can have fun too! Hopefully I can build a deck that can beat the villain on both standard and expert. I’ll try to document any tweaks I made while playing the deck too.

For this match-up we have Black Panther against The Wrecking Crew. To be honest the Wrecking Crew is easily the worst scenario in the game with zero variety and poorly set up mechanics that make it virtually impossible to lose. It's also overly complicated for no real reason. That being said I did still play 2 games, 1 on standard and 1 on expert with easy wins before moving on.

To makes things at least a little bit interesting I decided to not include any additional allies so that Black Panther would have to handle things all on his own. The core concept here is to use defensive events to make the fight against the multiple villains more interesting by damaging each of them a little at a time so that you are under pressure for longer. You dont really have to worry much about the main scheme since it is on a strict timer that can be reset with a simple THW so feel free to flip down.

The backbone of the deck is the many upgrades and supports that can be laid down to both thin your deck and boost your performance. We have Armored Vest and Energy Barriers for defense, Electrostatic Armor, Dauntless and Flow Like Water to deal damage, Hard to Ignore for threat removal, and Avengers Mansion, Quincarrier, The Golden City, and Unflappable for card draw and resource production. Crew Quarters can also help keep your HP up when you flip down.

Then you can use a combination of Black Panthers upgrades and Wakanda Forever! paired with Desperate Defense, Powerful Punch and Preemptive Strike to take down the villains without too much trouble.
