Get DWI Theet Mastery and Drax's Knife into play and then never flip to alter-ego unless you are forced to by Too Stubborn to Die
While Drax only has a hand size of 4 in hero mode, you will see far more cards than that on a usual turn. Once you have your vengeance counters stacked and DWI Theet powers online, you will be getting two extra cards per cycle of attacking the villain and them attacking you back.
Taunt from the Angel set is a huge addition for Drax. The villain attacking you is an upside, so this is a 1 card, 1 resource +3!
This deck is exceptional in multiplayer if you have someone that can run the role of threat control and perhaps bring some player side schemes to pull your supports and upgrades into play sooner.
3x Med Team is probably overkill.
