This is an SCL-tuned take on stilonxy's status-lock deck. Because of Hyper Thrusters and Milano I rarely ever needed thwart events from Gamora so just kept the off-aspect Concussive Blows to ensure I could flip down to AE on turn 2 or 3, usually right before I would advance Drang to Stage 3. Honestly this deck did really take much advantage of what Gamora can do.
I had 10 GMW marketplace units and spent them on
Official Games:
- Practice game video (6 turn win): link
- Game 1 - Turn 4 win, clean board, 15 HP on the hero side: I hit the free event draw in AE on turn 1, plus played Heavy Cannon and drop kick. Turn 2 Psylocke and then flipped down. Turn 3 advanced him with no minions falling out and then drop kick again. Turn 4 win.
- Game 2 - Turn 6 win, clean board, 11 HP on the hero side: Had terrible luck with my alter-ego event draw this game. Had some fairly inefficient hands and it looked a lot like the practice game I posted.
- Game 3 - Turn 4 win, clean board, 13 HP in the hero side: Didn't see Heavy Cannon or Hyper Thrusters at all in this game. Had him down to 1HP on turn 2 and could have defeated him to take him to Stage 3, but didn't have the resources to deal with anything that would pop out so flipped down on a Concussive Blow. Advanced him on Turn 3 and win on turn 4.

so great to see such a clean deck that knows what it wants to do. it's here to status the hell out of everything and hit with Press the Advantage for lots of value
i think you picked the perfect upgrades. everyone talks about how great the 4-cost damage upgrade is, but especially with gamora murdering everything, you don't get that much value out of it
how are you doing this league? still in first :D
