Ghost-Spider plans for the future

Before I get to the deck, I just have to say that our group plays almost exclusively 4 player games, occasionally 3 player and rarely 5 player. Therefore my decks are tweaked for large multiplayer games and I have no idea if it'll work in Solo or 2 player.

I have many Web Warrior decks but I've always had trouble building one for Gwen that was substantially different from my Peter Parker defense deck. So I was happy to see that the Pool Aspect could give me some stuff to make a different deck from all my others.

Even though she is not a defense deck, Gwen can still use a lot of cards in the Villain phase so the idea of the deck is to get out George Stacy and Plot Convenience quickly and use them to store Mulligans and your resource cards. Ideally the plan would be to defend yourself, straighten, then defend another. Player phase use the rest of your cards to straighten with Stick-To-Itiveness, play Tic Tac Toe or use Plan B then use George and Plot Convivence to get Mulligan and the triple resource to refill your hand.

Now, you might be looking at this deck and wondering a few things, like the fact that I have included no Pool cards with Negative Icons but have put in both Barely a Scratch and Laser Swords. Solo play, neither of these cards would be here but for a 4 player multiplayer game where Symbiote Suit is played often, the Barely a Scratch is worth a risk. Not only could your allies give you an Icon or two (and really you only need 1 or 2 Icons to keep yourself at full health with Healing Factor in play) but with 4 players, there is at least 4 encounter cards which increase the chances you will see a side scheme with an Icon. If nothing else, it is a 0 cost Interrupt for a straighten.

Laser Swords though is the 41st card for a reason, only include it if there is someone else at the table playing with the Pool Aspect and they have Negative Icon's in their deck. Otherwise, leave it out of the deck.
