Ever wanted to nuke a villain for 16 damage? Or remove 13 threat? With Cable, make the future your reality.

The plan is simple - play side schemes, remove side schemes, get huge.

Depending on the setup, you'll want to pick a different starting side scheme:

  • If threat is not a concern, pick Specialized Training and get it down ASAP for the massive upgrades for your team. Call dibs on Defense Specialist if you don't have a "take no damage" build character on your team - You'll need to defend against villain attacks most of the time as this deck is defensively weak, and it'll mean you can stay out of alter ego for much, much longer.
  • If your team revolves around specific upgrades or supports, like Ant-Man's Helmet, then take one for the team and get Superpower Training or Build Support in play ASAP so that they can come online and handle the situation while you piss about with side schemes. If you do, grab Temporal Leap or Graymalkin respectively. Trust me, you'll never think it's necessary to play Temporal Leap the old fashioned way, and then feel stupid if threat loses you the game. Just get it out of your deck early.
  • If threat is a concern, open with a cheap side scheme like Lock and Load - which means you'll power up Mind Scan sooner

Of important note, do not play this deck in the Sinister Motives campaign. It simply will not work. Hela will kill you, Loki will shut you down. It's just not worth it.
