Becoming a Web-Warrior

This deck utilizes Rogue's ability to gain traits with Touched. Web Warriors is a strong archetype, and rogue has access to it! The only difficult part is getting your first web warrior out. That's why I have included many web warriors that don't require a web warrior to be in play first!
Mulligan hard to find these allies:
Web of Life and Destiny is also a good target. Ideally, you will get a web warrior out first to ignore its cost, but it can also just be played as a 3 cost support normally.
After you get one web-warrior out attach Touched to them then Ta Da! You're now a web warrior.
Rogue Events
Rogue is unique in that her events change based on what traits she has. Southern Cross when Touched is attached to an ally does two additional damage because you will have the aerial trait. Essentially turning it into a Swinging Web Kick. It even has all the same traits! Attack, Aerial, and Superpower, so satisfying. Most of the time for this deck to work you will have Touched attached to an ally, but don't be afraid to deviate! For instance, you can attach touched to a web-warrior at the beginning of the turn. Do all of your spider shenanigans such as Thwip! Thwip! and readying with Spider-Man, then when you're done, play Energy Transfer to enable your other cards. My favorite thing is to attach Touched to the villain, so that I can play Bulletproof Belle. It feels so good blocking all the damage and getting a tough status card!
Card Substitutions
The web-warrior archetype is vast. Feel free to substitute any of your favorite web warriors in! I recommend keeping the ones that don't require you to already have a web-warrior card, and definitely keep Peter Parker! I added wild resources such as The Power in All of Us, The Power of Protection, and Preservation in order to meet his requirements along with Med Team as an additional target for The Power of Protection and to keep Peter alive. Other than that go wild! maybe try out Spider-Ham or SP//dr.

Lol, I was looking through my favorites and noticed I enjoyed your Black Widow deck, Star-Lord deck, Captain Marvel deck, and now this one. And didn't even realize they all came from the same person! I'll be keeping an eye on your youtube and decklists from now on, just wanted to share my support. |
