Iron Man is a really fun and thematic character. I love how you assemble his suit over multiple turns, before taking down the villain with supersonic punch.
As it is my first proper deck build from the ground up don't expect any huge revelations or a perfect deck, but I managed to blaze through the core box villains as well as the Rise of Red Skull campaign in true solo. That's good enough for me :)
You quickly want to bring out a few of your Tech Upgrades to increase your hand size so make heavy use of mulligan and discards. Psylocke and Mockingbird can buy you a few turns too. Stark Tower helps a ton, so make sure to get it into play as soon as possible.
Iron Man already has plenty of damage to throw against the enemies, so managing threat was my focus (especially for solo). With Looking for Trouble you can bring out a minion and then dispatch of them using Into the Fray for a huge threat removal. Additionally you can use Moment of Triumph or Chase Them Down for further benefits from your attacks. I often found myself increasing the effects of these "excess damage" cards by pinging enemies with Iron Man's Powered Gauntlets or the basic attack.
Psylocke also helps a ton with her confusion mechanics.
There are a bunch of cards (e.g. Follow Through in this deck I can see myself swapping out in future game, but so far so good.
Great call using excess damage with Iron Man! I forget how much control he has over his damage. Great deck!!
