The Scarlet Witch may have hung up her tiara, but Wanda Maximoff has her hands full in her new job: keeping the heat off a certain mouthy merc as he solves villainous problems with a minimum of diplomacy and a maximum of collateral damage!

Wanda has some great assets when playing in AE-only-or-close-enough mode (...you might have to flip up and be punched a couple of times while getting set up, depending on how much pressure the main scheme puts you under). This includes free cards (and digging) from Agatha Harkness, net-positive cards (and digging) from her AE ability with Quicksilver out, and scheme mitigation from her crest.

Throw in the S.H.I.E.L.D. suite and a false moustache, and all you're really missing is a good kill condition. Junior and the Sky-Destroyer can take occasional bites out of the villain, but are too slow to get the kill on their own. Most allies wear out too fast to be trusted with doing the job on their own.

Now, if only there were a universally-available ally who didn't care about consequential damage.

Yes, him! Deadpool with a gun will kill 40 health-worth of villain in just 13 turns, accumulating a mere four acceleration tokens in the process. With our extra damage sources it might be as few as three! Ask the local constabulary to cancel a couple of those tokens out, and that chick I'd never heard of because I don't watch the show to handle the lesser minions, and hope you can stay on the treadmill for long enough for Wade to finish the job. You'll probably have to flip up and do the last ten or so yourself, but no-one ever said being a PR agent was a cushy desk job.

Or just play Husk instead, and keep her healthy indefinitely by discarding Hex Bolts. That's probably better.
