Tinker with Tech, Soldier Spy
The movie and book, Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy, evokes the careful planning and hidden operations central to this deck's strategy. Expect a mix of tech upgrades, tactical plays, and calculated strikes, just like a well-executed espionage mission. This deck is all about building your advantage before going in for the decisive blow by repurposing tech upgrades.

VILLAINS TESTED AGAINST to refine the deck (in both standard and expert AND UNDEFEATED IN THIS CASE): Klaw; Zola; Red Skull, Magneto, and Black Widow (with the last hero in campaign mode).
Typical battle results: Almost all battles ended with total damage in the final round of about 20 points, which included anywhere from 10 to 19 points of basic attack damage from Nick Fury.
NOTABLE ELEMENTS OF PLAY:
The initial goal is to get critical cards into play: Fury's Flying Car, Fury's Watch, Helicarrier (and often Team-Building Exercise), and Maria Hill, while any other supports and upgrades will increase the effectiveness of the deck to keep minions and schemes in check.
Once those cards are in play, it's time to begin dealing damage to the villain, though some non-attack damage starts early (and regularly) if one already has Sky-Destroyer in play. Much of the damage in the final push will be accomplished with Repurpose and Fury’s Flying Car and assisted by Fury’s attack events and allies.
Maria Hill's interrupt ability and Nick Fury’s Gather Intel ability provide the fuel for Fury's Flying Car and battery for Fury's Watch, so a major goal is to keep Maria Hill in play indefinitely with Med Team, which is relatively easy to play with Team-Building Exercise, Helicarrier, and Fury's Watch.
Stealth Form vs. Assault Form: Versus most villains, one hopes to keep Nick Fury’s Suit in Stealth Form. Once the Suit is in Assault Form, one may want to stay in that form for most of the rest of the game, while taking advantage of ally defending and his tech upgrades EM Shield, Energy Barrier, and Forcefield Generator to protect him.
At times, he’ll want to strategically take damage to preserve his tech upgrades for the final push, but Practiced Plan can also help bring a tech upgrade back to hand to be used again.
Conclusion: This Tinker with Tech, Soldier, Spy deck delivered victories against all challengers, including Expert Magneto, though none came easily. Success required meticulous planning and a gradual build-up, mastering the deck's intricacies against simpler villains before tackling the most formidable foes. Repurpose proved to be the key to a calculated, decisive victory.
