I thought the wording on Make the Call ("pay the printed cost") meant that you couldn't use the "power of" cards as doubles for that action? Have I been restricting myself needlessly?

@Footballcoach Yes, you've apparently been hobbling yourself. Check the wording of "The Power of..." cards: "Double the number of resources this card generates while paying for...". Make the Call requires you to pay a printed cost. If you're paying using an applicable Power of... card, it generates double the resources.

@Footballcoach``@Excelsior! Right, as Excelsior! said, the ruling for Make the Call allows Power Of to double the cost if it matches the ally. So this is really helpful for using The Power of Leadership to play Maria Hill with Make the Call, but I have always found The Power in All of Us to be incredibly strong with Make the Call, since everyone can run basic allies, so in multiplayer you almost certainly have a great target in someone's discard pile (especially since Nick Fury is always a good target).

And yes, WHATS UP DANGA. "I like high chances that I might lose," but with this deck, I don't think that's too likely.

I like Clarity of Purpose used with Miles since he wants to flip to alter ego a lot anyway and has a high REC. Excited to see this at con!

Looks great. Big fan of suit ups, and this looks great for multiplayer with the cell phone and passing out Clarity to everyone. Love make the call to make having both types of "power ofs" more consistent

@HeroicSkeletonThanks! Yeah, I love Suit Up and was shocked to see hardly any Miles decks using it, really gives him a fun process to work through alongside his statusing.

Nice deck! When you use Suit up an Clarity of purpose, I think it makes a lot of sense to ad Moon Girl in this deck. Moon Girl is has a better value than Nick or Maria and can also be target of Power in all of us. For an inspiration watch the Spider Man (Peter Parker) Deck from Web-Warrior Fanatic.

It’s not my deck and the deck builder may feel differently, but with this deck, Moon Girl does not seem to be of better value than either Nick or Maria. In Multiplayer, Maria is always better because she isn’t selfish. She lets everyone draw a card, so in 3 or 4 player there are as many cards drawn. With Nick, using both Team Training and Command Team, you’re getting more uses out of him because he just takes 1 consequential instead of 2 for an activation, so you only get two uses out of Moon Girl (or 1 and a defense). With Nick, you can get 3 uses and a defense (so 6 thwart or 6 attack spread) instead of 2 thw or atk and a defense (even with Team Training). The WWF combo is powerful, but the deck context matters. This deck, Nick and Maria are better targets to me than Moon Girl, especially in multiplayer.

@Targon23 I agree with @andyr in the above sentiment. I don’t think cards are universally better for the most part. Sure, including Nick, Moon Girl, and Prof X in every deck is probably getting you a solid baseline for the most part. But always doing so loses a lot of context for decks and deck builders. But I’m not the deckbuilder so I can’t speak for them specifically.

@Targon23 Thanks! It's been fun to play. As far as Moon Girl, as others mentioned, Nick and Maria work better for this deck due to Command Team + Team Training. Also, they're always playable. Also, with Con of Heroes coming up, Maria is the focus here for multiplayer benefit. That being said, you could absolutely add Moon Girl. But it would also "destroy the illusion" to quote Spider-Man 2, since the rest of the allies are S.H.I.E.L.D. for theme reasons. I hate adding Ironheart / Moon Girl to an otherwise thematic deck, at least in the list itself.
