So this is a Shuri/Black Panther Repurpose Deck. Two of Shuris Black Panther Upgrades are Tech ([Kimoyo Beads and Spider Bites) and so is the new card Stun Gun
The cool thing is that Shuri has an relative easy time to get those as well as the other Tech cards out since whenever she is in Alteer-Ego she can search for a Tech or Black Panther Upgrade and play it reducing it's cost by 2. That means the only Tech card we still would have to pay for would be Forcefield Generator.
Not only that but Shuri can also get her own Black Panther Tech back in the deck with Aja-Adanna then flip and bring it out again.
A really nice combo (especially in Solo) is having Kimoyo Beads and Aja-Adanna out and potentially another Tech and Repurpose:
You use one of your basic abilities and trigger Kimoyo Beads or another Black Panther Upgrade then use Repurpose to ready discarding your other Tech card. Now you activate again and use Kimoyo Beads once more and discard it to confuse the villain. Now you can use Aja-Adanna to bring the Kimoyo Beads back into your deck flip to alter ego (not fearing the scheming because of the confuse) and next turn you can exhaust yourself to bring back the Beads with your own ability.
With so many Tech upgrades Spider-Byte was an obvious choice with a high chance to play her for free. She has 2 Thwart which is nice since Shuri is a bit low in this department
I also wanted to include the whole Dora Miraje package though I have to see it when I play it to see if it's worth keeping them.
For healing we have What Doesn't Kill Me which is also an additional ready so we can use our Black Panther Upgrades more often with more activations.
since all basic cards in this deck cost at least 2 (except Dora Miraje" which is free as long as you have the Wakanda trait) "The Power in all of Us" was a natural include and I might add one more in exchange for one of the two below cards.
Atlas Bear is more in the deck for theme reasons and I will have to see if it holds up. Also Plasma Pistol might be a bit of overkill with all the other Tech upgrades but I have to see.
Probably this weekend I will try out this deck for the first time but I believe it can be quite efficient.

Apr 26, 2025I though about it more and I guess you have the one BP upgrade that can confuse then flip down and get it back possibly. |
Apr 26, 2025`@chrisrivers13 first of all thank you for trying out my deck happy you enjoy it. Yes the upgrade is the Kimoyo beads that I also mention in my text. In Solo you should pretty reliably be able to trigger it every turn as long as you are having Aja-Adanna out and aren't both stunned and confused haha. Then you can use your basic activation (or the last one if you have readies) to use the beads and discard them. Then you use Aja-Adanna to bring them back to your deck and next turn your can use your Alter-Ego ability to bring it back out. In any case exchanging Atlas Bear with Professor X might definitely be a good option. Thank you very much again for trying it out :) |
I tried out the deck, I really like it. The only thing missing is some sort of way to confuse (if playing solo) since Shuri wants to go to alter-ego a lot.
